Gina Michalopoulou

MA Applied Linguistics – TEFL (Lancaster University - UK)

Gina Michalopoulou has been teaching English as a foreign language for over 25 years. Being a native speaker of the language, she soon got involved in teaching English after her university studies in Greece and in the UK. She is co-owner of Prestige Eurolanguage Studies Language School which was founded in 1998 in Athens.

She has taught all levels (Junior/Intermediate/Higher/Adult courses) preparing students to sit examinations of B2 – C2 levels and IELTS. In 2002, Gina was an EAP/Study Skills Tutor at Lancaster University where she was responsible for teaching foreign students of different backgrounds the necessary skills for their academic studies at Lancaster University. This involved teaching Reading, Writing, Listening and Discussion Skills; and evaluating academic essays and students’ progress throughout the course.

She is dedicated and passionate about her teaching. Her greatest reward is not only her students' progress and success but the long lasting relationships and friendships that remain with her pupils upon completion of their studies.

Vicky Michalopoulou

BA English Literature (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens)

Vicky has been teaching English as a foreign language for 28 years. She has been co-owner of Prestige Eurolanguage Studies Language School since 1998. As a native speaker of English, she has excellent written and verbal communication skills. She has taught all levels, from absolute beginners (A0) to advanced learners (C2) as well as preparation courses for University Entrance Examinations. She has a wonderful rapport with people of all ages, especially children and teenagers. She has an innate ability to connect with her students and a talent at teaching simple concepts as well as more advanced topics. She has great initiative and a positive attitude.

Cynthia Michalopoulou

BA English Philology (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens)

Cynthia Michalopoulou has been an EFL teacher for 26 years and has taught all levels, including examination preparation of A1 – C2 levels: FCE, CPE, ECCE, ECPE, IELTS, TOEFL, Trinity Exams and Cambridge YLE. After her fourteen-year career as co-owner of Prestige Eurolanguage Studies Language School, she decided to head another branch for the school in Gerakas, Athens, in 2011, where she is currently owner and director. In addition to running her own school, Cynthia has been appointed Director of Studies for Lewis School of English Junior Summer Courses, based at Solent University, Southampton, U.K. She is responsible for heading the academic sector, which involves organisation of testing and classing, overseeing teachers as well as fielding administration. She is extremely organised and passionate about her job. In her free time, Cynthia loves to read and dabbles in a little bit of writing as well as editing.
